Travelodge by Wyndham Red Wing

I love being able to back up and shlep my gear right inside my room. Super quite. No shady people lurking around or loud tenants. Owners are very nice. Pool is great and private. Best price around. Microwave, fridge, coffee maker and desk. Room was a good size. Best choice for pet friendly economical room nearest Lake City. Nice green space on property to walk the pup. Will definitely stay here next time!

First off there are NOT bed bugs here, get a life people! The only reason I didn't give the room 5 stars is because our duvet cover had big holes in it. The bathroom was clean and fully stocked, towels, wash cloths, toilet paper everything. The fridge and microwave were newer and worked great and the TV had a clear picture. The bed, sooooo comfortable, please give it a chance yourself, and yes its " next to a prison " so what? Its a minimum security for low offending kids. No it's not a perfect place but they are fixing things, dont always trust the internet

It's a motel, you get what you pay for. There are far worse motels. We've been coming here for a while now and haven't had serious problems. The area is great though! There's a big park nearby and another one up the road! It's a good spot for being in the middle of everything and quiet. You also may have animals which is nice because we always bring our dog.

We needed a place for a quick overnight trip for a wedding. Management was accommodating of our request for an early check-in (so that we could change clothes prior to a late afternoon ceremony).

Not a bad place for sixty dollars a night for a single bed room. Needed a place to stay without breaking the bank and this place did the trick. Pool was well maintained and the rooms were clean. If you need a modest place to lay your head down for a night, this place will work.

I ended up paying for three nights at the Days Inn of Red Wing, MN for some friends. Those friends were going through a hard time, which rolled over a bit onto the hotel. I ended up with a few interactions with the hotel staff, and I was incredibly impressed with them. I really appreciated how they handled some tough situations, giving grace where they could, but looking out for all the other hotel guests. I usually do my review about the state of the rooms, or the like, but I want to give a shout-out to some truly awesome hotel staff who care about doing an excellent job, while also caring a lot about the people who pass through their establishment. I was very impressed, and will certainly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Very basic hotel for a very cheap price. Great if you are on a budget or just passing through. The room was large, and it was very clean. Beds could use updating, but they weren't horrible. The pool was very large, but a bit cold. They have a hot tub too, which was a nice plus. They have very basic breakfast... Oat meal, cereal, yogurt, toast, coffee, tea, etc.
